Initially my role was to ensure that our current range of above ground hazardous fuel tanks were fully compliant with all relevant approved Standards in each country that the tanks were being sold into. Once this was completed, I work with our manufacturing plants to design new ISO fuel tanks, and through innovative design the ullage was increased by around 5%, steel content reduced plus greatly reduced manufacturing times.

Contract Engineer assisting in the design of very large water tanks, using Solidworks and AutoCAD. During this time I was given training on programming the Company’s laser-cutting machine which was used extensively to cut out 90% of the parts for each tank.
