For further information see rwwa.com.auResponsibilities - ​Management of the strategic and operational objectives of the thoroughbred racing industry across metropolitan Perth and regional/country Western Australia. Oversee operational activities of 305 race meetings annually and manage relationships with Race Clubs conducting events, Stewards maintaining integrity and industry stakeholders.Primary contact for stakeholders and media on all thoroughbred racing matters, with the exception of integrity.Manage communications with industry stakeholders, including Horse Owners, Trainers, Jockeys and Race Clubs.Development of Race Club and Stakeholders funding models.Race meeting fixture policy.Handicapping and Race planning policy.Manage contracts and operational requirements for broadcast of race meetings from all regional venues to domestic and international markets.Represent Western Australia nationally on Australian Racing Board Race Planning and Handicapping Committees.Represent Australia internationally on World Thoroughbred Ranking Committee.

Manage the racing services and handicapping department to meet the operational requirements for preparation and distribution of race fields for all thoroughbred race meetings across Western Australia.

Provide high level accounting support to Local Government and Port Authority customers across Western Australian and South Australia to meet their reporting requirements under relevant legislation and accounting standards.
