Develop and maintain a program of continued improvements designed to achieve the division's goals. Responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining production and quality goals. Lead person for Gage Control initiatives and to Maintain and Improve Cast Iron’s Quality System.• Work as the lead person for gage tracking throughout the division • Troubleshoot production and product problems. Investigate and implement solutions to problems associated with manufacturing documentation, equipment capabilities, etc.• Develop reports, recommendations and initiate corrective actions for UFR improvements in Cast Iron. Act as a liaison between Cast Iron and the end customer.• Develop, improve and sustain Cast Iron’s ISO system and act as the lead ISO representative for the division.

Scope out, lead and participate on Kaizen workshops to implement changes in method, improve yield and reduce manufacturing costs.􀁸 Troubleshoot FANUC robotic equipment in both the Casting Finishing and Enameling operations of the Tub Value Stream􀁸 Work toward an increased Rolled Throughput Yield operation with constant emphasis on elimination of scrap and rework by using quality improvement tools (Six Sigma, Shainin, etc.).􀁸 Troubleshoot production and product problems. Investigate and implement solutions to problemsassociated with manufacturing documentation, equipment capabilities, etc.􀁸 Develop capital project justifications and budgets as required.􀁸 Work with production supervisor on developing Job Instructions (JI) for new employee training andqualification.􀁸 Responsible for writing and updating of ISO procedures when necessary.
