Overall this concluded a saving of 100.000 Euros annually, where I played a vital role. -Kaizen Project Connecting Two PressersThe objective of the project to achieve a one-piece-flow system. I was able to achieve our aim and the operation range went from 66% to 78% resulting in a annual saving of 41.000 Euros.Main responsibilities:• Project leader for Introduction, specification, buying, FAT/SAT approvals, installation, run-in of new integrated robots cell.• Specification and revision of deep drawing pressing and turning design, run-in, FAT/SAT and approval for serial production from part design to approved product by closely working with part/pump designers from R&D.• Negotiation with external suppliers( machine suppliers) and submitting all technical details of offers, contracts etc.• Setting up of project management plans, following and delivering project goals on-time by driving project forward and challenging different project stakeholders.Working and supporting established production with main responsibilities:• Main technical responsible for supporting deep drawing pressing and turning production in terms of all technical issues, challenges, improvements related to machines, and Health & Safety process.• Responsible for set up of SAP ERP system in terms of equipment preventive maintenance set up.• Responsible for local component BOM (Bill of Material) making and updating according to production and customer requirements.• Making, updating and setting up of SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) documentation and quality measurement system.• Together with maintenance team ensuring that all equipment is running smoothly and having all necessary spare parts on stock and defined service objectives.

I was involved in optimization and capacity development for production of Stilton Blue Cheese.Where I analysed production flow in order to identify opportunities and also proposed solutions while working alongside the management. One major recommendation that I made was to process the 'Whey'- a dairy byproduct, in-house rather than selling it away to a competitor. I made a business case to the company by assessing the cost structures pertaining to production setup and logistics and valued its profit potential to be GBP 478,000 per year. My efforts were highly commended and the proposition is under consideration.
