Led systems engineering activities for a federal laboratory with multiple hardware and software systems under development. Coordinated with sponsor organizations and sub-contractors to define work activities and technical processes required to achieve stakeholder capability objectives. Managed systems engineering activities including stakeholder analysis, system capability definition, requirements development, verification & validation, and test & evaluation.

Supported Commander, United States Third Fleet in maritime operational strategy and planning

Managed industry partners developing an advanced tactical data link called 'Tactical Targeting Network Technology,' which will be implemented on the Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS). Led a team of eight engineers creating radio models to be used for waveform design and application development. Communicated with the Navy's testing community to verify, validate, and accredit the models for operational test and evaluation, and worked with engineers to determine interface requirements so the models can be integrated to platform labs.

Managed training and curriculum development for operators of advanced technology systems. Acted as a subject matter expert for electronic warfare, air vehicle systems, crew resource management, and systems engineering. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of airmanship, combat performance, network requirements, and development and execution of operational training guides.

Manage a cross-functional team supporting foreign military sales contracts for development and sustainment of MQ-9A Unmanned Aerial Systems

Led, trained, and equipped Navy sailors to facilitate squadron readiness during combat deployments and training detachments. Managed the readiness, movement, and support of 186 people, and personally oversaw 50 sailors maintaining aircraft systems and conducting administrative duties. Advised the commanding officer on squadron manning issues. Led a test exercise encompassing 23 personnel and two aircraft in order to qualify four aviators to operate onboard systems. Identified and corrected personnel and procedural issues within the division's work centers and contributed to the squadron's 98% mission completion rate during two deployments.

Operated the EA-6B Prowler for 1100 hours during four deployments including 62 combat missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Unified Protector. Qualified as Mission Commander, Tactical Air Flight Lead, and Functional Check Flight Aviator, Trained 10 aviators working toward their qualifications. Studied and employed electronic warfare jamming techniques used against radar and communication threats, briefed senior commanders on mission plans and tactics.
