David Dolan is an outcome-focused Finance Executive and CPA with proven success building, optimizing, and aligning finance teams with cross-functional departments. He has a broad-based background in both public and privately held companies with expert qualifications across all corporate finance, accounting, treasury and operating functions. Since leaving public accounting, after working with a pre-IPO and subsequent public company in the Technology industry, he has spent much of his career in the capacity as a consultant: building and leading the finance and operations departments of small, privately held companies. He has strong strategic, general management, technical, FP&A, sales operations, team building and problem-solving skills.Most recently he has worked with a SaaS company in the marketing industry. In addition to providing corporate controller services, he designed a pipeline database and captured necessary KPI’s before subsequently converting into SalesForce. He has also worked with senior executives of a HaaS/SaaS company, connecting HubSpot pipeline opportunities to a current year forecast and long-term strategic plan.Before that, he completed a 3-year assignment with a digital marketing and data management client as the Director of Finance in which he was promoted to VP of Finance and Operations before assignment completion. During this time, he built the accounting and back-office teams, built internal control processes, designed an annual budget and quarterly forecasts with KPIs, worked closely with the sales team in the management of its pipeline and led the company through its first financial audit.
