• Synthesized carbon nanotube (CNT) aerogels and computed their thermoelectric figure of merit• Computed thermal conductivity of CNT aerogel using the heat equation to derive the temperature dependence of oscillatory current in a thin filament running through the aerogel• Demonstrated no clear connection between the chirality of nanotubes and thermoelectric performance• Collaborated across mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, and materials science departments• Awarded best presentation for communication of experimental setup, synthesis, and data results
