Working for the Chiefs Super Rugby franchise, contracted out to the Chinese National Womens Sevens side on their first season on the HSBC International Rugby Circuit. - Spent July in Beijing preparing the team for the Asia Games tournament- Filming, coding and analysis of training & match footage of the Chinese national team- Capture and code team and individual events and make readily available for coaches and players- Reviewing match and training footage to identify individual improvement areas for players.- Review & coding opposition games to identity strengths & weaknesses- Silver Medal winners at Asia Games- Chinas first appearance on the HSBC 7s Circuit in Glendale, Colorado October 2018.

Short term contract as Project Manager for the Chiefs Super Rugby Franchise, working with the Jiangsu Womens 7s provincial team from China, who came to train at in the Chiefs environment in preparation for their national championship campaign in March 2018.My role included:- Planning all accommodation and dietary requirements for 2 months in Hamilton & Auckland- Planning, implementing & overseeing a strength & conditioning programme for the athletes- Planning, implementing & overseeing an international level 7s fitness plan for the athletes- Sourcing & employing professional rugby coaches & players to coach the players at an elite level- Organising 3 x games on successive weekends v NZ provincial teams to test the athletes.- Tracking & monitoring all player development progress and reporting to Chiefs CEO Mike Collins- Liaising daily with 10 x Chinese coaching and management staff to ensure expectations were met.Results:- All 20 athletes significantly improved their strength statistics in the gym, aerobic fitness and skin fold measurements.- Jiangsu won the Chinese National Provincial Championship in March 2018, beating long time champions Shandong province in a series of 3 games. - Jiangsu province was invited to represent China on the womans international 7s circuit, who the Chiefs now work alongside and I work as their video analyst.

Inside Running is one the most successful rugby recruitment agencies worldwide. I had previously worked alongside them through Rugby Hits Media, making videos for their clients. IR offered me a position as a Canadian Rugby Agent. My primary role was to approach rugby clubs across Canada, introducing our recruitment services and to establish relationships to send players to their clubs from NZ, Australia and the UK. As a result of my work a number of Canadian rugby clubs now recruit a number of players each season through IR. I also placed a number of Canadian players in UK, NZ and Australian rugby clubs. I continue to work alongside IR now, promoting Canadian players to NZ clubs and to the Inside Running International Academy.
