I advise and represent clients in relation to commercial dispute resolution and litigation, including in contract, tort, intellectual property (including copyright, trade marks and patents), the Australian Consumer Law, insolvency and corporate disputes, and disputes concerning Wills. I have acted in litigation in the Federal Court, the Supreme Courts of Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, and at VCAT, as well as in arbitration proceedings and mediations, both formal and informal.Before joining Shiff & Company, I practised for over nine years in the intellectual property and technology litigation group of a major national law firm. I can conduct IP due diligence and I am experienced in preparing and delivering legal compliance programs, to assist clients and their employees to adopt and instil work practices consistent with relevant laws and regulations.I have advised several not-for-profit organisations, including Benetas and the Brotherhood of St Lawrence, and I have provided pro-bono legal advice through the Arts Law Centre.
