• To prioritise, support, instigate and deliver focused development plans and completed bids/applications for funding opportunities in South East London, Kent and other areas when relevant. Research funding opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with Senior Managers and Directors to seek and prioritise appropriate funding opportunities
• Coordinate monthly funding meetings to update Directors and Chief Executive Officer on progress
• Liaise with CEO, Directors, staff and partner organisations as appropriate and submit well written tenders and applications. Funding secured will range from low level pots to large scale and highly detailed bids
• Manage and monitor multiple on-going applications, record and update funding data records and review feedback on both successful and unsuccessful submissions
• Produce a strategy to coordinate and develop funding planning and priorities across the Trust in line with the Business Development Plan

• Employed initially as Football Development Officer (Clubs & Disability) covering 19 London Boroughs, promoted to Senior Officer in October 2007 and to Football Development Manager in July 2012. Responsibilities:
• Investment; Working with key partners including The FA, Premier League, Football League, Football Foundation, Sport England, London Sport and Nike to ensure vital development of and investment into the grassroots game.
• Staff Management of the Football Development Team (11 full-time staff) including; team and one to one meetings, target setting, strategic planning and appraisals.
• Delivery; Working with key partners such as Professional Clubs, Leisure Providers, Local Authorities, London Youth, HE/FE and grassroots Leagues and Clubs to deliver agreed FA targets.
• Respect Programme Lead Officer; Communication with 38 Leagues (youth and adult) to improve player/spectator behaviour and assist referee/player recruitment and retention.
• FA Charter Standard (CS) Accreditation; Implementation of the CS League programme and continuation of the CS Club kite mark award scheme. In partnership with Leagues and Clubs support to capacity build the football.

Goals Soccer Centre, Dartford

• Employed as Assistant Manager to open new state of the art purpose built 5-a-side football Dartford site in early 2003. Promoted to Deputy General Manager at beginning of 2005.Responsibilities:
• Weekly and Quarterly performance and sales reporting to Regional Manager and Head Office.
• League, Casual, Corporate and Football Development Co-ordination.
• Goals Soccer Academy; Responsible for initial setup and development of FA accredited coaching programme.
• Branch key holder; in charge of day-to-day centre operational management.
• Staff recruitment and training for various positions needed to run the centre.
