I have been working in the manufacturing industry for 36+ years. During my first 20 years in the industry I worked for small company, GCO Inc. The shop housed about seven employees. The company predominately worked with hydraulic shafts and Aerospace mechanisms. I worked with close tolerances, tooling, and programs. During my employment I also was foreman/supervisor. I was responsible for opening and closing the shop, making sure the employees had proper tooling to complete their projects and maintain shop ethics. The past 16 years of my manufacturing experience has led me to many new avenues in the industry. I am currently working with Space and Defense for Moog Inc, Chatsworth Operations. I work on highly sensitive projects for various companies including but not limited to NASA, JPL, Goddard, Ball, Orbital, United Launch Alliance, and Loral. Some of the projects I have worked on have been used for satellites, Hubble, Nicer, Cassini, NOAA, and many more, as well as but not limited to defense and space exploration.
