Early on in my career I identified a passion for regulations and standards, and more specifically in application and implementation. I have an immense drive to conceptualise and define solutions to problems through a systematic and risk-based perspective, while ultimately remaining pragmatic in my approach to tasks. Through understanding my personality and reasoning, it is no surprise that my career is pivoted around Food Safety and conformity assessment. As a Programs manager, lead auditor and regulatory expert, I understand that both knowledge and ‘know how’ are needed in order to achieve peace of mind. I have more than 15 years of experience in a wide variety of processing environments, a BTech in Food Technology (CPUT), and a Master’s in Medical Biochemistry (UCT).
