The Group system was a Mainframe based on-line and batch system with a large client base. The system used COBOL/PL1, CICS & VSAM. Also, working on a Life quotation calculation system.

The system was the first major application to be developed using generated code from Texas Instrument’s IEF CASE tool. The system used a relational database to store and access data (COBOL, CICS & DB2) and workflow management techniques to improve the systems efficiency in a production environment.
