Delivering Sport England's Engage to Compete programme to primary schools in Salford, Rochdale and Oldham. Delivering training, analysing physical activity needs and utilising the Engage to Compete funding to address individual school's specific needs.

My role involved developing an Olympic Legacy for Schools in Newcastle. The programme, Schools 500, was so successful that it was awarded Inspire Mark by LOCOG in 2011. The programme's centre-piece is the Schools 500 Games, the UK's largest ever single-authority, multi-sport Games. The programme has also included a wide range of learning activities themed around the Olympics across all curriculum areas. I also act as the PE Adviser helping individual schools develop their PE provision.

I am an Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for KS4 progress, ICT strategy, Cover Supervisors, Break and Dinner duty cover, rewards and sanctions, improving teaching and learning, SEAL strategy as well as line management of KS4 pastoral staff. I am also the schools NQT tutor and ITT professional mentor. I am also seconded on a 0.2 basis to the School Improvement Team within Newcastle Local Authority to provide a strategic lead in PE and Sport.

I have also managed our Sports College, line-managed our coaches and Sports Centre, organised whole school learning activities and celebrations of achievement.
