Biwell Construction does ONLY public work. They specialize in historical renovation projects and fill out their remaining work portfolio with standard government projects on schools, libraries, offices, etc. I have a long history with the Owners of Biwell, as we all went to the University of Washington and graduated from the Construction Management Program in the last Century.

Seattle, Washington

Saltaire is a commercial contractor specializing in multi-family renovation and tenant improvement projects. I managed a 14,000 SF TI on the basement of a 100 year old building near the Fremont Bridge. The project was to build a health and fitness center. I also managed the conversion of a commercial kitchen into a parking garage and construction of three new apartments near the Aurora Bridge.

Seattle, Washington

I concurrently managed the ground-up construction of two high end residences. Both were over 5500 SF with $2,000.000 construction budgets. One was a traditional home with three all masonry fireplaces, full plank oak flooring, moulding, cedar siding-roofing and copper gutters. The other was a modern design with limited moulding, high ceilings, window walls and metal roof. Both of these homes were built for specific clients, who were very involved in the whole process.

Sylmar, Ca

Elected President of a 71 unit, $25 million, town home complex in December 2007. This was at the start of the real estate collapse.-- For over 5 years, I have led this corporation through defaults, lawsuits, foreclosures and at the lowest point a 20% reduction in revenue from dues.-- I developed and implemented a plan to stabilize and then increase property values.-- To include consistent enforcement of rules and maintaining a safe, clean, quiet property.-- Since March 2012, I have been catching up 30 years of delayed maintenance.-- I have worked within budget and have never increased dues or had a special assessment.-- I am now using my construction expertise to make capital improvements on this property.-- The result is we are solvent, property values are trending up, and occupancy is near 100%.

As my time allowed, I converted a failing 20' x 30' carport into a detached garage with breezeway that now compliments the home. I also increased the floorspace of the home with an office addition for the Owner's business.

Beverly Hills And Bel Air, Ca

I was the Corporate Construction Manager and worked in several capacities. -- As the Owner's Representative on two ground-up estate projects, from design to completion.-- They included a 25,000 SF Estate in Bel Air and a 12,000 SF Estate in Beverly Hills. -- I evaluated and helped select the contractor for both projects and was their liaison to Corporate.-- I worked with the design team to expedite plans and permits.-- In addition, I was the only superintendent and PM on numerous in-house projects. -- To include a ground-up 5,500 SF Guest Home on a restricted lot in Beverly HIlls.-- Plus challenging remodels on two Beverly Hills estates, one 14,000 SF the other 20,000 SF.

Holmby Hills And Malibu, California

I was both the PM and Field Superintendent on a $1.5 million remodel of a Holmby Hills Estate. -- This included the demolition, first floor remodel and second story addition on one of three wings.-- The project was completed on time and on budget. -- I also worked as one of two Field Superintendents on a Malibu water-front Estate.
