 7th Grade World History/8th Grade SC History: Prepared my students for their future by using technology to enhance their learning in order to meet standards based state testing. Wrote and implemented daily, weekly and unit lessons in accordance to state standards. Continually assessed, modified and created new benchmarks for student’s results in order to make changes to accommodate all learners. I worked with multiple teams (horizontal and vertical) at both a discipline and grade level in order to ensure maximum productivity and cohesive teamwork.  Co-developed an academic based after school program that both helped students scholastically as well as engaged them in Students were given a safe place to stay after school in order to complete school work, develop better academic skills and to learn how to get along with others. Daily guidance and training given to help students succeed. Community groups were brought in to teach skills and to introduce students to new skills.

  Worked weekly with grade level team to implement and write daily and weekly lessons in accordance to state standards, assessing student progress and setting learning goals. Continually changed process to improve the learning process. Utilized exterior resources to help reinforce in-class learning objectives.  7th Grade Geography/PA History: I transferred my class electronically so students would be using the newest technology. Students were taught state history in a way that made them think and come up with conclusions and solutions on their own or in teams. Students were taught time management and educated on how to better prioritize their time and assignments. Group assignments were used to teach students to work together cohesively.  Economics/Military History/American Law: 12th Grade Class, designed to make the students to come to the solution of problems by both individual and group thinking. Students were prepared for graduation by relating historical problems to their daily lives and to search out solutions.  Senior Project Adviser (4 years) and Senior Class Adviser (1 year). I rewrote the senior project program for my school district. I designed a multi-year program that incorporated community service as well as options to either research their future schooling/job aspects or do a project out in the community. Students learned to set goals and develop future career plans while receiving continued guidance from me.  School trainer for online grading program (Skyward). Co-created district smart phone application to ensure better communications between the school and the parents/students. I was the go-to person when administration or teachers had questions/problems with computers/technology.  Designed an online learning academy that is currently in use. Worked with multiple companies and created multiple proposals to best suit the needs of the district. School district is currently using the program.

 Substitute teacher for any position needed Short-term position (4/07-6/07) Band Director: high school and elementary. Assigned to work one-on-one with a learning support student who was both mentally retarded and op-positional defiant; assisted the teacher with the entire class when needed.

 Two general education World Cultures classes and one learning support World Cultures class, which includes adapting to meet individual IEP needs.  Extra duties include being a graduation project advisor for 23 students; developing and maintaining a teacher’s web page for the district’s website.

 Responsible for programming computers used in manufacturing circuit boards for computers, checking for quality of work done by the machines.

 Operated multiple departments. Responsible for unloading trucks, stocking shelves, sales and customer service.

 Material handler for warehouse, responsible for picking and receiving orders for all departments, loading and unloading trucks, and overall accountability of warehouse stock. Certified warehouse trainer. Safety team member.  Worked on majority of molds and assembly projects. Responsible for checking the quality of all work handled.

 Professional military musician. Served in other positions including assistant squad leader, team leader, supply assistant and supervisor, administration, operations, training, librarian, armorer and transportation supervisor.
