Hgv Driver Trainer / Transport Manager
CurrentI am responsible for the training of all LGV Gases Cylinder drivers for the whole of the North West of England. I create training plans for all, which includes Driving (both defensive and observed), manual handling, legal compliance, and job specific training (Hiab and fork lift). I conduct all assessments and training sessions personally and update training records accordingly. This also applies post accidents, whereby I will take the appropriate measures to assess and re-train where necessary. I also Cover the Transport department, both solely and as part of a team, being the first point of contact for all Transport related matters from North West England cylinder drivers. Here I manage drivers accordingly from a legal compliance perspective and from job specific needs (shift plans, weekly hours, daily hours etc).
