In my previous role as a Platform Support L&D Consultant, I was responsible for providing a range of Learning and Development interventions to the AEGON WRAP Platform Centre and also to other areas around the business. My role was to equip staff with the knowledge, practical skills and motivation to carry out their role either as a new employee or existing employee of the business. I had a strong working knowledge of the propositions, the tax wrappers and the regulations and had a flexible, can-do approach with the ability to task manage to tight deadlines.I continually assessed the skills and knowledge within the department and worked with the managers to determine what training was required to fill gaps in knowledge, increase the existing levels of knowledge and provide a multi skilled work force across the business area. I provided generic, technical and bespoke training programs using the training cycle to structure the end to end process. I provided training to the business on the technical aspects of individual’s role as well as providing training to managers, focusing on courses such as Performance Management, Manager Soft Skills and Effective Communicating and Influencing. In addition, I helped support training across the business, providing support and guidance on Program training delivery. Skills: • Expert knowledge of the learning cycle, needs analysis, delivery and evaluation of engaging and effective training. • Strong knowledge of Platforms, understanding the competitors, their differences and the key drivers for Platforms. • Strong knowledge of investments, understanding the different investment options available both at market level and propositional level. • Strong working knowledge of MS packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Within the 12 months of holding a role as Platform Specialist, I worked in various teams across the department gaining an expert knowledge of our Products, Propositions and Processes. This led to me becoming a Subject Matter Expert within our Workplace business. Some of the key responsibilities in this role were as follows: • Problem Solving - investigating high profile and complex issues to find solutions for the end customer• Query Support - acting as a specialist point of contact for complex Workplace queries.• Relationship Building - engage with all key stakeholders to build strong working relationships and ensure a high level of service• Resource Management - Analysing the day to day resource requirements of the team allocating priorities to cases and ensuring all SLA's were met.

Within the 6 years of holding a role as Senior Administrator, I worked on various Pension contracts across the corporate department gaining an expert knowledge of our Products. Some of the key experience/skills during that time are as follows: • Strong knowledge of Section 32 Buyout Plans• Strong knowledge of Final Salary Group Buyout Plans• Strong knowledge of Guaranteed Minimum Pensions• Strong knowledge of Individual Personal Pensions and Group Personal Pensions.• Expert knowledge of the Tax Free cash Process
