Having been in the lumber industry all my life, in December 2018, I sold our family-owned building materials company, Foster Lumber, to retire. Or, so I thought...In reality, though, once a lumberman, always a lumberman. I deeply appreciate that in the almost 100-year history of Foster Lumber, our family worked hard to create a network of suppliers to find the best building materials for all of our customers’ needs. I now have the opportunity to share with others these deep industry connections to resource of tough to-find, high-quality domestic, specifically Old Growth and very high quality second growth Redwood and imported forest products. Thus, the formation of my new company—Noyo Timber
