How the human body works is something I have always been fascinated with. Millions of chemical reactions happening every day in everyone. This curiosity has fueled my passion into trying to learn more about how the human body is affected by everything.As a Lab technologist in Cytogenetics, I am able to use what I’ve learn to perform waived, moderate, and high complexity analytic processes. I provide feedback and have collaborated in the formation of new SOP’s. My role also involves mentoring and assisting new hires with any issues they may have.Before working as a Lab technologist, I worked for TSA where I learned how to work in a high stress and high paced environment. I gained interpersonal communication skills that helped me de-escalate situations in which people were furious. I also learned to adapt to various and continuous changes that occurred due to new information or unexpected obstacles.Outside of work, I enjoy the occasional binge watch of the latest Netflix release, riding my bicycle, and exercising. I enjoy learning new things and having new experiences which recently have led me to dabble in climbing gyms.
