A Chartered Civil Engineer and Chartered Environmentalist, employed by Costain Ltd working in Energy, Civil Nuclear, Nuclear Defense and Rail Sectors in Wales and the wider UK.I am leading the Costain NetZero activities in South Wales liaising closely with industry, UK and Devolved Welsh Government's, Welsh Local Government Association, Local Authorities, Cardiff Capital and Swansea Bay Regional organisations. I am the lead on the South Wales Industrial Cluster (SWIC) Industry Decarbonisation Challenge (IDC) Deployment Project. The Deployment project is a collaboration of 17 Partners including the major industry and power emitters in South Wales. I am also Costain lead in the SWIC IDC Cluster Plan project. I am part of the Costain Energy Sector with particular interest in Green Energy solutions to meet the UK Net Zero targets including the use of Carbon Capture Use and Storage, Hydrogen, Combined Heat and Power, Heat Pumps and Small Nuclear Reactors.Previously I was supporting a Costain Project Controls Team an a large Nuclear Programme.Prior to this role I was seconded to ABC Electrification Ltd., an Incorporated JV of Alstom Transport, Babcock Rail and Costain, working on the South Wales Mainline and Valley Lines Electrification Programme, through the Western & Wales Area of the Network Rail National Electrification Programme.In past roles I worked on tenders and project mobilisation for Civil Nuclear and New Nuclear Construction & Decommissioning Projects in the UK.
