Building on a highly successful career in Commercial Banking with the 10th largest bank in the US, founded IMS (a financial analytics software company) to serve the unmet needs of the commercial banking industry. Wrote the company’s primary product, the Commercial Credit Analysis System (CCAS), to provide state-of-the-art financial analytical functionality for commercial bankers. Served as President and CEO until the company was acquired by Crowe Chizek & Company, a Mid-West headquartered certified public accounting firm ("CC&Co").As Principal/Partner at CC&Co, I was in charge of the firm’s Software Marketing Group charged with software development for the Banking Industry. Responsible for the development of FAMAS as a next generation product to replace CCAS/MMAS. With the initial development of FAMAS completed, resigned from the Partnership to return to Southern California.Upon returning to So Cal, started a consulting practice while subject to a software development non-compete. Consulted on a wide variety of highly engaging projects in the areas of corporate financial planning/modeling, accounting, finance, IT, marketing, investor relations, software development and more.Founded Financial Tools, Incorporated ("FTI") in 1993 after developing FTI’s initial financial analytics offering (CASH).
