My role includes the following responsibilities:- Creating plans for overhead electricity lines for customers.- Following safety protocols before working on both high and low-voltage underground and overhead lines.- Building and maintaining both underground and overhead service cables and break switches.- Using sensors and thermal cameras to find hotspots in lines and fix them.- Checking the grounding and voltage levels of transformers.- Getting permission for line placement, changing fuses, and installing carriers.- Identifying and fixing problems like broken conductors, fuses, and cutouts.- Sharing project plans with the business development team.- Setting up poles, recording meter readings, and installing power lines.- Providing updates, solutions, and results to department managers.
