  David is a Registered Psychotherapist providing Spiritual Direction and Counselling for difficulties in relationships. He has helped those facing deep marital tensions, separation and divorce. Trained in sexual therapy and grief counselling, David has been evaluated as having excellent skills in mediation. He specializes in assertiveness training, pre-confrontational preparation and anger management. Solutions you have tried are reviewed along with options which may still be possible. This extends to assessing the nature of conflicts and considering ways to confront issues. As a Certified Spiritual Director (CSD), David enjoys listening to you, and his understanding of the spiritual dimension helps you to grow in your relationship with God. David loves the ways in which God welcomes us and speaks to us. He has the continuing joy of meeting individuals where they are on their spiritual journey and walking with them as God leads. This reflects his deep love for our Lord and for people. Sensitive to your needs, David will assist you in spiritual disciplines which include listening silent;y, reflection, contemplation and prayer. He will help you to seek God’s guidance through difficult situations, sharing the mystery of God’s presence in a safe, caring relationship. David is a member of the Tyndale Association of Spiritual Directors (TASD) and OACCPP. He provides Psychotherapy, Spiritual Direction and Counselling in Ajax, Oshawa and Pickering.
