Whether as a rescue helicopter pilot, a security police officer, a policy/budget planner and advocate for the Air Force Academy, a small business/child care owner, or now as an insurance agent, the needs of my clients have always come first for me. Successfully lobbied for budget initiatives to fund over $50 million in new construction, including additions to the Cadet Gymnasium and Dining Hall, and an addition to the Academic building to correct obsolete laboratories. Secured funding to correct over 212 JCAH write-ups in the Academy Hospital, replace the aircraft used for primary flight screening, provide permanent funding for maintaining the terrazo marching pavement, and regularly replace cadet dormitory furniture. Trained Congressional staff members on the cadet nomination process and helped them develop procedures to evaluated their candidates most likely to succeed at the Academy.
