Having worked at Sweet Hut for half a year, I always tried to go out of my way to make sure that the store operated smoothly when I worked. As I dedicated more time and effort to my work, I was willing to accept more responsibilities and take on a more of a leadership role. Having already had experience in providing excellent customer service, my role expanded to handling upset customers and making sure I can find the best solution for them. I have also managed the team of our employees; my responsibilities included delegating tasks, handling any conflicts, and supervising their work. Getting my second job as a barista at Sweet Hut Bakery & Cafe was an incredible experience. What I really admired about it was the relative autonomy that I was given. Having received basic training in making beverages and serving customers, it was up to me to decide how I wanted to work as long as I got my job done.
