In support of the Executive Branch’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB), I am responsible for designing and developing front-end web interfaces, and graphics for a very large and widely encompassing intranet system for federal agencies. I also help with troubleshooting interface-related errors, and create workflows for upcoming processes within the intranet. I utilize applications such as the Adobe Creative Suite, various markup editors, Git versioning, and I make use of current web technologies such as JavaScript and JS-based frameworks for designing and developing sites for a variety of web-browsing platforms. I am the point person for Section 508 compliance and compliance testing, and for designing/developing web apps with accessibility in mind.

In support of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) as a contractor, responsible for creation of online training modules for field agents and conversion of older HTML-based modules into newer technologies, utilizing Articulate Storyline as well as the Adobe Creative Suite for Flash and HTML5-based products in conjunction with the ATF’s Learning Management System (LMS). I contribute to both player and slide interface design and layout and development of per-slide content, while optimizing the e-learning training modules for accessibility and for following federal Section508 (1194.22) guidelines.

I served as an administrator of the web site at www.leidos.com by maintaining and updating content through a Drupal-based Content Management System. Duties included ongoing content updates to extant pages for both corporate and the business sectors, new page creation based on Drupal templates, HTML email templates for viral marketing campaigns deployed through the CampaignMonitor online application, Flash animations/banner ads for the company intranet and for business sector advertising.

I was involved in web interface design and layout, preparation of digital materials for the web and formatting of web content using HTML and (CSS).For this, I used the Adobe suite of design software (Fireworks, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver), at times employing jQuery or Dojo widgets and effects. I am versed in coding for adherence to federal accessibility (Sec. 508) standards for web-based media, and had been responsible for testing sites for accessibility issues and creating reports. Creation of HTML emails meant for mass distribution, either to advertise upcoming events or for internal e-newsletters. Web development duties included implementing client-side ColdFusion and SQL scripting for web-based projects, connected to either MS Access- or SQL Server-based data sources, which I also designed, created and maintained. I have worked some in XML/XSLT for both web and as part of an iPad app. I created numerous web-based training modules employing the Articulate Studio software suite, for internal process training as well as product use training for customers. Occasionally created, animated and made interactive Flash pieces for use as banner ads or integrated into web pages, using ActionScript 2. I was also at times involved in print design efforts, using Adobe Illustrator to design and lay out proposal graphics for print or for use in PowerPoint slide presentations.I exercised project lead duties on a number of projects. Project lead duties include interfacing with the internal and, sometimes, external clients to provide direction to various team members on client task requests. I was responsible for requirements-gathering, creating estimates for client review, updating of efforts and costs to the client, bringing team concerns to the client and client concerns to the team.I acted as a point-of-contact to third-party vendors, supplying specifications, electronic files and budgets for both web-based work and hardware deliverables.

Working as a temp with SAIC, Inc., I assisted in design and layout of new media materials, including web site design and layout, CD-ROMs and Flash animations, as well as print design efforts. Involved in web development, implementing client-side ColdFusion scripting for web-based projects. Involved in interface design, manipulation of photographic imagery and layout of designs into HTML. Involved in creation, animation and interactivity in Macromedia Flash animations. I was involved in content manipulation into HTML, translation of materials into web format and formatting of web content using HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). I used Macromedia Freehand to design and lay out proposal graphics for print.

I also handled redesign of and maintenance of company web site; creation of interface of domains owned by M2Direct, Inc. and creation of self-contained web sites and artwork for company product. The product was a method of secure document delivery through email for PC platform. It was used primarily for demographic information collection on a client's consumer base. I was responsible for animations in Macromedia Flash for various projects involving company product; also, translation of print work to HTML.
