Consistent with the Christian mission and vision of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, and in cooperation with other YMCA staff, under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Operations, the Vice President of Membership Experience will have the primary responsibility to grow sales and revenue, improve member retention and engagement, assist in development of a new strategies and create a comprehensive plans and trainings to positively impact the health and well-being of our communities.

They develop, direct, and manage all programs, complying with all Association standards, safety procedures, and program quality. This person hires, trains and supervises staff and volunteers for all programs as well as develops, manages, and monitors departments budgets. They are responsible for developing, producing and disseminating appropriate program information in order to promote programs to the public and to current members. Operations Management- Oversee the development, implementation and operation of various programs- Recruit, train and support staff teams for all assigned departments- Actively seek out new opportunities with individuals, groups, and companies to promote and advance the mission of the Y- Develops and controls department budgets in excess of $3,000,000 for all assigned departments.- Provide data and reports for all assigned programsSales- Collaboration with marketing team to develop 18 month advanced calendar to achieve sales goals- Use advanced metrics and dashboards to create and track membership sales goals for multiple sites- Develop relationships with key strategic corporate partners to increase corporate memberships- Help centers determine if they fall into sales or retention pathway and collaborate with them on developing a plan to achieve their goals Training and Development- Y of USA faculty trainer for Fiscal Management, Developing Boards, and Train the Trainers Facilitation Skills- Developed and implemented new staff a orientation that was later used in-part to create a new Association wide new staff orientation-Co-Lead forecast training for Association leadership

Under the direction of the Senior Vice President of Operations, the Executive Director of Membership’s primary responsibility is to grow membership sales and revenue, improve member retention and engagement, assist in development of a new pricing strategy and create a comprehensive sales plan and training to positively impact the health and well-being of our communities.

Under the direction of a Senior Director, the Program Director II is responsible for day to day management of multiple branch programs. They plan, direct, implement and evaluate a developmentally appropriate program that supports the mission, values and goals of the YMCA. Develops and monitors the budget to meet fiscal management goals. The Program Director II is responsible for setting up a system to monitor day to day issues and ensures the staff meets goals as well as staff development training and day to day supervision of all program delivery staff.- Developed and managed a budget in excess of $500,000- Responsible for staff hiring and development, including identifying key staff for promotion and assisting with their professional growth- In collaboration with the Executive Director, developed 5 year strategic plan focused on customer engagement, efficient business practices, and a goal oriented budget - Achieved consistent membership and revenue growth since 2010 facility opening -Served on Association task forces, including Finance, Membership, and Marketing- Helped develop 2014 Association Membership Budget Guidelines through Budget raining Task Force- Served on the team responsible for writing Association Membership SOPs and training full- and part-time staff on new membership software
