As a seasoned risk executive and dynamic leader, I have a history of success building vibrant credit risk teams from the ground up to optimize performance in Insurance, Investments, and Banking organizations.Throughout my career I have designed and built risk management operating models and risk management teams that outperformed competitors for portfolios up to $400B at AIG, Credit Suisse, JPMorgan. As an expert in credit risk, I design and implement bespoke risk management business models that fit the unique needs of each company, especially rapidly growing or complex well-established financial institutions. That involves assessing financial risk across broad markets and products while separating vital insights from background noise. After building a new credit risk framework and team at AIG Investments from the ground up in 2011, I was promoted to the most senior credit risk role, managing $400B in risk across a complex portfolio for one of the largest financial institutions in the world. My expanded responsibilities included the insurance side of AIG’s business. Later I was recruited internally for chief risk officer of investments when AIG spun off its $200B life insurance line of business to form Corebridge Financial. Attaining buy-in and building consensus in complex matrixed organizations is one of my strengths. My reputation as a loyal, insightful, trusted, exacting leader and influential business partner with exceptional technical skills who gets things done is well deserved.
