I completed a seven-week research internship under Dr. Marcin Mucha-Kruczynski, focusing on the unique properties of Transition Metal Dichalcogenides and contributing directly to his research. During this time, I gained hands-on experience with complex computations, including data post-processing for in-depth material analysis, and developed expertise in Quantum Espresso software, where I mastered essential parameters to explore material properties and used large clusters to enhance calculation efficiency. I employed Python for the analysis and visualization of band structures, charge density waves, and susceptibilities, ensuring accuracy by cross-referencing with scientific literature. This experience also strengthened my time management and independent research skills as I identified impactful research directions and adapted my approach based on emerging results.

I've spent six weeks as a student engineer working in Galway, Ireland at Thermo King. For the first half of this internship i focused mainly on trying to solve an existing issue with the product, through various testing and pressures measurements. This not only made me more familiar with different measuring software and methods, but also with the actual hardware used. In addition, my problem solving skills improved massively during this part, as there was a new issue every day that needed to be solved.In the second half of the internship, I focused on software. I was looking for and documenting issues with the software and comparing software on different products. This forced me to focus on trying to create a very detailed description of a problem, that can be understood by employees from around the world. Hence, making everything as understandable as possible was important. I also got to participate in a number of meetings, where l learned about some of the solutions to these problems and got to come up with some on my own.

I have coached kids at least once a week for almost two years, coaching children of different age, from four years old up to sixteen. I have also taken part of organizing summer week-long camps. This improved my organisational skills and communication, as well as interaction with children of different age.
