I focus my litigation practice on construction, product liability, commercial transportation, premises liability and catastrophic injury cases. In thirty years of practicing law, I have tried dozens of jury trials to verdict on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in multiple state and federal courts, dozens of bench trials and more than 100 arbitration proceedings. I am a member of the trial bar for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and have been admitted pro hac vice in CA, FL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, TX, WV and WI.Some of my notable cases include:* I tried a traumatic brain injury case in Brownsville, Texas in which I obtained a verdict on behalf of my client that was recognized as the “Verdictsearch.com” national verdict of the week.* Successful verdict in favor of a truck driver and his employer in a contribution lawsuit tried in Cook County, Illinois following a multi-million dollar settlement of a catastrophic injury case.* Appellate victory in Illinois First District Appellate Court involving a multi-million dollar insurance coverage dispute.* Not guilty verdict representing defendant commercial property owner and manager in premises liability case tried in Cook County, Illinois in which the plaintiff sustained multiple cervical disc herniations resulting in multi-level fusions. The plaintiff's attorney, who is now a Cook County Circuit Court judge, asked the jury for $2.1 million.* In 1996 alone, less than two years after being admitted to the bar, I tried six jury trials to verdict and dozens of bench trials and arbitration proceedings on behalf of severely injured plaintiffs.
