On an account wide and corporate basis, I evaluate and assess the nature, probability, and magnitude of loss potential at large commercial and industrial properties including, but not limited to fire, explosion, wind, flood, and earthquake and communicate this to the client and client service team. I prioritize the exposures, ensure the client understands the hazard and risk, and ultimately that the client agrees to the solution. I lead the development and implementation of a mutually agreed upon risk improvement plan. Through teamwork with field engineering, client service, claims, and new business development, I provide responsive service with innovative solutions to challenges that will foster long-term client relationships and consistently illustrate the value-added differential of our engineering.

I conduct in-plant loss prevention surveys at multi-million dollar commercial and industrial properties in order to evaluate various hazards, such as fire, explosion, flood, collapse, mechanical and electrical breakdown, as well as analyze existing property protection. I work with clients to develop sound loss prevention recommendations in order to manage any exposures, and once the solution is agreed upon, I help manage the project through to completion. Additional responsibilities and accomplishments include:• Review of architectural and engineering drawings for compliance with standards and codes.• Review of other consultant reports for technical and procedural accuracy.• Served as designated service provider for several locations with a Total Insurable Value over $4B.• Proficient in the creation of insurance drawings of client facilities using in-house software.• Undergoing training to become an industry specialist in the Power Generation field.
