The Product Owner maintains deep knowledge of the ERP requirements for local governments and understands customer needs as it relates to the software product. Responsibilities include writing ERP software product requirements for the application and its features. Regularly conducts planning and strategy meetings with the development team to review and translate user stories for development work. Test plans are crafted to identify software bugs and ensure that features are meeting requirements. New software feature releases are presented to Executive and Functional teams to inform and update them on the latest changes and software enhancements

Promoted technology to direct customers and casted a larger net to include a broader set of businesses whose primary interests were invested in technology. This included outreach campaigns, hosting gov talks and writing/publishing technical articles. In addition, Spearheaded efforts to expand our existing Managed Service Provider offerings by strengthening existing customer relationships and gaining new customer trust by evaluating their IT needs with the goal of building a more resilient and agile organization.

Managed a team of Developers and Analysts with the goal of successfully migrating new customers from their legacy software products to the new ERP MCSJ Software. Participated and steered Business Process reviews, Technical Reviews, Test and “Go Live” data conversion strategy.

Established roles, goals, directives, and policy for the Customer Service Team that aligned with our organizational goals. Motivated Support staff to improve customer satisfaction, client retention, and customer loyalty. Planned and tracked all project activity. Worked closely with the client to define a SOW and Project Plan. Defined functional teams of a project and assigned roles and duties as needed. Managed communication of project statuses from Project Teams to Executive Management and Customers through regular status reports and status meetings.

Handle customer support issues related to the MCSJ application software. Troubleshoot bank rec issues, assist with end of year rollover, assist with budget prep processes, and other special projects. Resurrected and managed our Annual User Group Conference and worked with SME's to deliver a fun and informative learning experience related to local government operations and how it applies to our ERP software product. Trained new customers on how to effective use the MCSJ application for Finance, Payroll and Human Resources, Business License, Accounts Receivable, Permitting, Revenue Collection, and more. Updated project status reports and participated in customer status and business process meetings.

Provided customer support for the Laboratory Information Software Product. Duties included staging hardware, trouble shooting software issues and coding interfaces for the medical insurance billing software.
