I am an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental professional with a strong background in the Oil and Gas industry. I have provided onshore support to engineering and construction projects and worked offshore on normally unmanned installations, manned fixed platforms, Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) platforms and at onshore gas terminals. I am energetic and passionate about driving improvements, with a genuine interest in implementing and maintaining best practice in health and safety issues. I have helped others understand risk and determine what level of risk is deemed acceptable whilst ensuring levels of production are as efficient as possible. I have a strong belief that mitigating personal safety risks to make sure there is no harm to people is very important but controlling the major accident hazards is paramount.
