Alan Plummer designs aerial and underground projects from start to finish including all permits required to complete the project. (City permits, pole make ready, pole loading analysis, rail road permitting, TXDOT permitting, ATT access permits, bore profiles)

Austin, Texas Area

As a field planner for Level 3 I am responsible for maximizing fiber utilization, expanding the network and focusing on adding new buildings to the Austin Area network.Previous to the Level 3 acquisition with tw telecom I am was responsible for fiber maintenance, fiber network, fiber expansion, network moves and documentation of the fiber network. The fiber network is several hundred miles in the Austin Area. tw telecom serves as the last mile for voice and data services. With the 14 plus years at tw telecom and the 11 years at Time Warner Cable I have engineered and or managed the construction of hundreds of miles of fiber backbone and feeder drops entering hundreds of buildings with fiber. The experience has provided me the knowledge and skills to work with city, state, county engineers and departments along with building owners managers and engineers.
