Head of Discretionary Investment Management at Ravenscroft in Jersey.Ravenscroft operates in Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and the UK. The business has assets under management and / or administration in excess of £7.5Bn. Of this, in excess of £2Bn is managed under discretionary mandates for private clients, trustees, intermediary and institutional clients across both segregated mandates and managed funds. Complimentary services include Advisory as well as Custody and Execution services. A Bullion service is also offered through our Guernsey office. My focus is upon growing the Discretionary Investment Business in Jersey and contributing to the investment process.

Our focus is upon providing a highly personalised Discretionary Portfolio Management service for our clients. The Channel Islands offices have circa 50 staff and also provide employee benefits and retirement services solutions.The focus of my role of Senior Investment Director is; 1) managing client portfolios and client relationships;2) contributing to the group investment process by being a member of BMAM Investment Committee, Asset Allocation Committee plus Asset selection Committee 3) chairing the BMI Multi Asset Committee Team who manage our bespoke portfolio and managed portfolio services. 4) Assisting with the management of the offshore business by being a member of the management committee.

We established a Jersey office for an investment business that had been established in Guernsey for many years. The business dealt with a mix of Private Client and Institutional Clients. I was actively involved in all aspects of the business and it was sold to Spearpoint in May 2009 when I became a Principal at Spearpoint.
