I was tapped by a DISD instructor to complete the instruction of her financial literacy courses at Conrad High School in Dallas, Texas for the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year. Classes taught included Insurance Operations and Securities & Investments to students in grades 9-12. I also filled in for absent teachers throughout the day around the school. Working with teenagers in a high school taught me more about myself and what I stand for than any other job experience I have ever had.

I work to implement financial products and strategies into my client's lives through one-on-one coaching on money management "best practices", behavioral change, and accountability to a self-driven financial program. While I do help people protect money that already exists, I have a sincere passion and place great effort on helping people generate money to protect in the first place. Yes, I want to help those that have lots of money, just as much as those who have very little!

I learned that growing a steadfast and sustainable financial services practice requires that I have:-a vision of how I can make people feel -the mindset to make things happen-goals to reach, strategies to believe, and a plan to make it all come together and workBy focusing on strategically selected groups of people who share common visions, values, and life purposes, my resources as an Independent Financial Representative allowed me to help people wisely and carefully create, grow, protect, and pass on the fruits of their lives from one generation to the next.

I created and maintained a substantial portfolio of clients through the adherence of AIG Financial Network's client growth and service commitments, goals, and objectives by focusing on growing and protecting the financial portfolios of various individuals in markets across Texas. This helped me acquire a solid knowledge base on which to build a healthy career within the Financial Services field.

While introducing hundreds of new clients to Wells Fargo Bank and its products/services, I took a consultative approach to banking and personal finance by mapping out goals and assessing needs based on those goals. I provided lending and credit solutions to consumers and small businesses, as well as functioned as a small business banking specialist.

I worked with small start-ups that focused on social, economic, and environmental sustainability ("triple bottom line") to initiate and develop marketing and public relations plans. This role later developed into my became "the face" for brands such as Walgreens, AT&T, Cisco, 5 Hour Energy, etc., at various promotional events across Chicagoland and the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

While in this role, it was my responsibility to help grow and develop the small Farmers Insurance agency by soliciting new business, resolving policyholders issues and addressing concerns, and closing cases arranged by the agent.

I was the first to hold this position at the company and so set a precedent for the position. I generated invoices for billing purposes and tracked collections progress. I also streamlined bookkeeping procedures to increase overall efficiency and productivity of the department.

This was my first position in a financial services/accounting role. This role was primarily administrative in nature (data entry, filing, assisting staff accountants, and reconciliation of bank, credit cards, and lines corporate lines of credit)
