🌱 My Dream: A Sustainable and Organic Coffee Industry Hi, I'm David Leclerc, co-Founder of Earth Bean Coffee. We started this eco-friendly roastery in Los Angeles with one mission in mind: to provide certified Organic and Fair Trade Certified™ coffees that people can feel good about. ☕ Organic Coffee: A Healthier and Tastier Choice As a coffee lover, I've learned that conventional coffee is one of the most highly sprayed crops in the world, and this has far-reaching effects on people and the environment. That's why, at Earth Bean Coffee, we're committed to only sourcing coffees grown with toxic-free farming practices. I truly believe that organic coffee not only tastes better but is also healthier for you and our planet. We're proud to be a USDA certified organic coffee roaster. We also regularly test our beans for mold and are happy to report that the beans we source are mold-free. 🤝 Embracing Fair Trade and Ethical Practices I know that we, as consumers, have the power to make a difference through our everyday shopping choices. At Earth Bean Coffee, we only source Fair Trade Certified™ coffee beans, supporting farmers and workers in developing countries with better prices, improved terms of trade, and the necessary business skills to compete in the global marketplace. 🌍 Caring for the Environment through Eco-Friendly Practices As an eco-conscious person, I want Earth Bean Coffee to actively reduce, reuse, and recycle. I make sure we use compostable coffee bags, glass bottles for cold brew coffee, plant-based disposables, biodegradable straws, and composting at our shop and roasting facility. We've also partnered with the non-profit One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every order received, helping to offset the coffee industry's impact on deforestation. 🌐 Building a Warm and Supportive Coffee Community I dream of being part of a larger coffee community by creating partnerships with end-users who appreciate clean, organic coffee, as well as small businesses, retail shops, the hospitality sector, and non-profits supporting renewable agriculture. 🔍 Striving for Excellence in Every Cup of Coffee I'm always on the lookout for the finest specialty grade organic and fair trade certified™ coffee from around the world.
