Poniéndome las pilas desde ’99. This expression taught me a few things: resilience and equity. Having experienced life as a first-generation, Latinx student I am passionate about attacking the systemic issues that plague communities of color. As a recent graduate of Washington University’s Olin Business School, I also understand how institutions and society have contributed to inequity. In a world of strategists, I'm tactical, I work hard and get things done. For much of my life, I have been dedicated to creating equitable experiences for underserved students. As the Senior Associate for Scholar Recruitment at Chicago Scholars,I hope to illuminate pathways and be a resource for any student looking for guidance. Fueled by the desire and enthusiasm to make an impact I strive to identify gaps in experiences and resources for people of color. I have experience managing projects and organizations and have collaborated closely with others as a student, advocate, and leader.
