Gas Controller
Current▪ Manage nominations with commercial teams throughout the Wahalajara pipeline to facilitate payback and makeup activities for improved balance.▪ Oversee daily operations and logistics: storage, receiving, and distribution along the Wahalajara pipeline.▪ Evaluate the distribution of natural gas at a national level from Texas to Guadalajara.▪ Prepare gas operations reports to ensure volumetric control compliance with customers on each gas day.▪ Assess the pipeline's capacity to control pressures and make decisions to maintain natural gas for a limited duration.▪ Supervise the delivery of requested nominations for each client and maintain communication with strategic partners in interconnectionssuch as Sempra Infrastructure, TC Energy, Cenagas, Oneok, IGASAMEX, and CFE to guarantee uninterrupted natural gas delivery.▪ Calculate flow rates to meet the requested nominations at each point.▪ Verify operational parameters for natural gas delivery in a critical pipeline system with five systems comprising turbochargers, flow andpressure control valves, system-dividing valves, and filters.▪ Make decisions to prevent high pressures in pipelines and safeguard facility integrity.▪ Transmit commands from DCS through SCADA during operations and coordinate with on-site staff to conduct tests.Achievements: Conducted training sessions for newly hired controllers to ensure their proficiency in operational procedures | Managed the Scada system for the entire Wahalajara gas pipeline, overseeing shift calls, conducting tests, and independently operating the system for over 8 months | Negotiated natural gas imbalances with clients across various interconnections to uphold operational efficiency.
