I left Law Enforcement for more lucrative ventures in the security industry. Starting in supervision and climbing the latter up into management with one of the largest security companies in the United Sates. My last employer was a Federal Security Contractor. There my work was recognized by the Federal Protective Service, the Army Research Laborites, HQ Research, and the Engineering Command from Washington DC.I have studied Criminal Justice at Mitchell Law Enforcement Center, NC Justice Academy, along with many courses pertaining to Law Enforcement, Security, and Anti-terrorism. I have also studied gunsmithing at the North American Gunsmithing Institute. In 2005, I became a North Carolina certified instructor, followed up with becoming a NRA certified instructor, later various other disciplines from a variety sources, example, baton, OC, etc. From 2006 to 2012 I was a Board Member for an in-door shooting range/club. I developed several programs and assessed various liability issues. I also assisted in developing several advanced shooting classes and instructed many classes. I started “Black Hawk International Security LLC” in 2013. I combined my training company with my security company. But, still I teach NC Concealed Carry Handgun, Tactical Firearms (pistol, rifle, and shotgun) and various other self-defense classes to my employees, clients, and to the general public. I am also NRA Life Member, and I enjoy teaching and informal competitive shooting with friends.My favorite quote “Take "I don’t know" out of your vocabulary”
