I am currently a freshman at the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University pursuing a degree in Accounting. I took my first accounting class senior year in high school, and I was shocked by how much I enjoyed it. I loved learning the concepts and I got very intrigued by the tax field of accounting. I have already taken two accounting courses at IU and they have further reinforced my interest in accounting.Through my previous experience, I have been able to tone my confidence and communication skills. I have grown in my ability to stay firm and confident in my decisions. I have realized that most decisions will upset at least one person, so being confident and able to explain your reasoning is important. Planning ahead, I am eager to continue expanding my knowledge in the accounting field and tone my skills at Indiana University. Ultimately, I hope to become a Certified Public Accountant allowing me to navigate the complexities of tax laws and regulations for companies in the future.Interests: Traveling, Sports, Movies, Investing
