David is experienced in investing, operating and financing in consumer service, media as well as technology and other high-end value-added manufacturing businesses in the Pacific Rim since 2000. David embarked on his investing career with China Development Industrial Bank where he was in charge of the U.S. based technology investment activities before he cofounded Whitesun Equity Partners in 2006 to focus on the high potential consumer market in Greater China. David has since managed 3 funds (including one RMB fund) where David served as managing partner. Dr. Lin currently sitting on the following public company boards: public: Yageo Corporation (2327.tw), TongHsin (6271.tw), Ubright Optronics (4933.tw), Xinhe (003016.SZ). In addition, David also has experience in management and operation of family-owned businesses. David was the founding vice president of the Hong Kong Independent Non-Executive Directors Association (HKINED), where David advocates better corporate governance and providing linkage to knowledge sharing across Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. David is also an active member of Young President Organization (YPO) where he once served as chapter chair and has also part of the regional board since 2016.
