At Alta, I handle all the day to day break fix for all the laptops and desktops here in Ft. Myer's. I also manage a few thousand computers (PC/Laptop/VDI) via SCCM where I deploy Windows updates (OS and monthly patching) and various application deployments/updates across all locations. Another responsibility of mine is being the Audio/Video SME for the company. With this title comes the responsibility of maintaining, scheduling, and deployment of all the AV systems across all locations using Creston and Logitech gear.Awards: I received the S.A.F.E (Securing Alta's Future Environment) Award this year for outstanding commitment to keeping our environment secure and 13 awards (so far) relating to excellence in customer service (Ace of Diamonds).Achievements: Designing, managing, installing, and configuring all the AV gear needed for an entire building including conference rooms, boardrooms and 6 classrooms, etc. Project was completed May 2022.I also worked hand in hand with the facilities department to schedule and manage electricians, plumbers, structured cabling, waste management, elevators installation, AC monitoring systems (VDI Hosted), etc. Another notable accomplishment involved updating every single desktop/laptop/VDI in all locations (5 currently) to one version of Windows in order to achieve audit requirements.Software proficiency includes SCCM, Intune, VSphere, AD, Jira, Cherwell, McAfee/Trillix EPO, Office/O365, Windows XP,7,10,11 and 2016 Server.

At Oracle, I was a part of the Sustaining Engineering team that handles all issues that have been escalated from L1 and L2 regarding Opera platform. Daily tasks include troubleshooting severe tickets by utilizing PLSQL, archiving tickets that have been solved in a knowledge base, working with development to find solutions and managing tickets in Jira while following PCI guidelines. Other tasks include participation in an on-call rotation for severity 1 issues, maintaining testing environments and creating documentation on specialized subjects for clients.

Managing 20 local users and 50 remote users. Set up and managed Citrix XenCenter environment via Windows 2008 and 2003 server running Marketron. Web site creation and upkeep for drcfm.com and talkofconnecticut.com. Custom graphic creation and advertising management for both websites. Set up in house file server and printer server via Windows 2003 Standard. Set up an HD2 Radio station using Rivendell/Linux. Duties also included audio editing, day to day PC problem solving, custom form creation and intern coaching.

Started as a Wiring Technician. My primary responsibility was building and wiring racks of Audio/Video equipment via CAD drawings. I became Technical Writer June of 2008, working with programmers, project managers and engineers to develop easy to understand documentation on very complex video conferencing systems. During this time, I developed documentation for companies such as Lockheed Martin, GE, Bank of America, Legg Mason. I was introduced to APC Netbotz Security Devices July of 2008. I became the lead programmer of these products. I managed installation and maintence of these units for 87 sites.October 2008, I presented an idea about a potential web store to help sell cookie cutter audio video systems using X-Cart. Over the course of 7 months brought idea to fruition while still holding the position of Technical Writer and Netbotz Programmer. The site received PCI-DSS certification and has been up since May of 2009.I moved over to the service department in 2009 as a Service Analyst due to major downsizing in the A/V department. In the Service Department, I was as the first line of defense for various on-site equipment failures for the Wal-Mart account. Worked together with Wal-Mart Support to solve complex, mutli-vendor issues.

Daily duties included customer service and all aspects of computer repair ranging from basic software removal to data recovery. I also received 2 customer letters for outstanding support and an award for loss prevention when I implemented an idea on how to lower in-store theft.

Set up of virtual environments using VMware Products, maintaining 30 computers in 3 classrooms, updating curriculum for classes such as Introduction to the Internet and Introduction to Windows XP and other clerical work.
