David has been married for over 44 years to his high school sweetheart, Deen. He is the proud father of three grown children and has six grandchildren. As an avid Scouter for over 50 years, he is a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award and is actively involved with Boy Scout Troop 55 in Nashville, TN. He is a board member of the Old Kia Kima Preservation Association, a group of older Scouters who have purchased and restored an abandoned Boy Scout Camp in Northeastern Arkansas to be used in training the youth of today with leadership skills for tomorrow. He is an active member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church and has led a men's prayer group for the past 20 years. From 1994 to 1999 he was the Managing Broker and Partner of ERA Woodmont Realty Group in Brentwood, TN In July 2000, he started ERA Cornerstone Realty, located in Brentwood, TN.In June of 2006 he merged ERA Cornerstone with SilverPointe Properties and established the Brentwood Branch of Silverpointe. Prior to his Real Estate career, David was an Estate Planner with Business Men's Assurance Co., a Stock Broker with Merrill Lynch, and a Youth Minister with Youth For Christ.
