• Responsible for divisional bidding process, involved liaison with Senior Execs in the division over apprenticeship strategy and recruitment in their regions. • Support local teams with Outreach during recruitment campaigns, liaising with BBC Resourcing over applicant numbers, and then feeding that back to teams to decide on Outreach strategy.• Assessor support on all assessment days for BBC England, supporting teams to hit our diversity targets, and ensuring we hit our divisional target for apprentice recruitment.• Provide extra mentoring and coaching support for all BBC England apprentices. This includes regular catch ups, CV and careers guidance, and troubleshooting any issues that might occur on smaller BBC sites.• Liaise with apprentice line managers, senior editors and England HR re apprenticeship retention. Devised process where FTC apprentices could still apply for roles in the middle of major divisional restructure.• Liaise with BBC Academy on how BBC England engage with other new entrant activities such the Get In programme.• Support other BBC Nations’ new entrant initiatives such as involvement in the 10K Intern programme, supporting with interviews and mentoring support for candidates.

• Responsible for management of apprenticeships and new entrant activity at BBC North division. This involved working with all departments at BBC North on recruitment planning, I was responsible for local outreach and resourcing for all apprentice recruitment, running and designing assessment centres and liaison with FE providers for the apprentice qualifications. Mentored all apprentices and supported them with moves into post-apprenticeship employment.• Worked with external stakeholders such as the Salford Foundation and Sharp Futures to deliver short-term new entrant placement programmes for BBC North divisions. • Ran the BBC Young Ambassador programme from 2011-20, an internship-style programme for young NEET candidates from the Salford and Trafford areas. • Engaged with third party providers to set up other training initiatives on site for BBC staff including sign language training and coaching for senior team leaders. • Delivered pilot for T-Levels for BBC Academy at BBC North site, included liaison with FE Colleges, BBC departments and selection of students.• Delivered three cohorts of pre-employment programme First Steps for BBC Academy at BBC North site• Delivered 121 careers advice sessions for BBC staff across various sites in the north of England.
