I purchased services for Colombia and Venezuela regarding global processes of GERDAU Brazil Business Operations of South America. Responsible for the work team and an annual expenditure of 42 MUSD with annual savings of 1.2 MUSD in the Opex expenditure.o Mitigated legal risks in the contracting services through modifications of the procurement process; I implemented a matrix regarding to Kraljic model, key KPIs, processes improvements which allowed the update of contracts in execution and shorter times in the process of procurement and new high impact contracts to the business in Colombia and Venezuela.o Executed the service negotiation plan for 2015 aligned with the organization's budget, as well as renegotiations projects for all high-impact categories due to global budget cuts as a result of abrupt changes in the steel prices and oversupply of low-cost Asian construction products in South America.

I executed budgets for an annual expenditure of 20 MUSD. We negotiate through the purchasing department the acquisition of productive and non-productive goods and services. Permanent negotiation for the acquisition of productive and non-productive goods and services with an achievement in average of annual savings of 0.6 MUSD. Also, I developed planning and contracting processes for industrial maintenance and agronomic exploitation in the extraction of palm oil.o I Managed innovation processes under the S.I.T - Systematic Inventive Thinking methodology, based on creating ideas in closed environments and limited resources (Inside the box Thinking)o I Led the design of budgets and planning of non-delivery financial hedging of palm oil in the international markets of Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia and Rotterdam – Holland.o I Led the technical and financial evaluation of interconnection projects, acquisition and cogeneration of electric power from biogas and steam turbines in palm oil extraction plants.

I purchased goods and services for Capex and Opex budgets for an annual expenditure of 25 MUSD in the industrial processes of cement, concrete, aggregates, and exploitation of limestone mines, aligned with Global Procurement of CEMEX México S.A.B. of C.V. I also managed RFIs, RFQs and RFPs processes and electronic auctions methodologies with achievements in savings of 1.2 MUSD.Achievements:o Work team member in search of annual saving alternatives of MMUSD $ 3.5 in a global post-merger integration plan – PMI, focused on the search of new energy sources for clinkerization processes as biomass of rice, palm kernel and industrial waste.o I Led the negotiation of the exploitation services of the limestone mine for the cement production with machinery for open pit mine exploitationo Responsible for a work team in the warehouse management of the Cement Caracolito plant in Colombia, with current assets of 15 MUSD.
