Take active ownership of technical hurdles involved in repair and maintenance of radiotherapy equipment.Engage in communications with sponsors, vendors and potential customers.Ensure that tasks, milestones, and deliverables are accomplished on time, within budget and in accordance with GC quality standards.Utilize broad and innovative skills to work in a team environment to find solutions to challenging problems and contribute to concept development and customer proposals Work with Engineering Manager in streamlining quality process control. Accommodate roster changes to ensure onsite and remote support to other engineers as required. This includes flexibility to change roster with short notice or perform split shifts during the day to support other engineers when required. Take accountability for personal development, setting of clear goals in conjunction with State Engineering Manager as part of the annual PDP process.Proactively engage in increasing clinical availability of Radiotherapy equipment in their respective state.Actively engage in National engineering service delivery support and contribute towards national spare parts management initiatives.Work with the team in Performance and record keeping of FCOs, updates, Preventive Maintenance and upgrades as released by the manufacturer.
