Senior and technical management experience within the extractive metallurgical consulting/contracting industry. Has held positions as Technical Director GRD Minproc (now Wood Ltd), General Manager of Minproc’s Sydney office and Process Manager (Minproc and Kvaerner). Has provided industry services through his own company, Stirling Process Engineering for the past twenty years. Continues to work at the 'pointed end' of process engineering in terms of input to feasibility studies and project design. Recent experience includes reviews associated with project funding and technical risk assessments.Major career achievements include lead roles in developing and executing projects worldwide. The achievement of performance warranties on numerous EPCM and lump sum projects, the development of novel and cost effective metallurgical and waste treatment technologies.Technical experience includes input into projects associated with extraction of numerous metals and minerals and with significant experience in gold, copper, nickel, uranium, zinc and critical minerals. Has over 30 technical publications and holds three patents on hydrometallurgical processes.Recent client base includes Zinnwald Lithium, Palaris, Horizonte Minerals, Hummingbird Resources, GRES, Lycopodium, Worley Parsons, GoldFields, Wood, Sherritt and Ilbak.
