Program Manager within Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). The PM owns the supply chain planning at the highest level for Amazon’s fulfillment business. The PM works in a fast-paced, fluid environment and effectively communicates business conditions and decisions with stakeholders across multiple groups and levels – from warehouse associates to various Amazon Directors and VPs. The PM has a holistic view of supply and demand within the Amazon fulfillment network and plays an integral part in creating and implementing large-scale strategic initiatives in inventory optimization, transportation cost, labor capacity management, and more – all with the goal of better serving our customers. The PM routinely makes data-driven decisions and manages stakeholder relationships while planning and executing within an ever-changing environment. The PM will seek out problems, dive deep into data, earn the trust of partner teams, and deliver results that can have a large-scale influence.The end goal of the S&OP PM is to answer the question of how we can fulfill more products to our customers in a safer, faster, more efficient, and more cost-effective manner.
